Downton Abbey star Laura Carmichael portrays “Lady Edith Crawley,” the middle daughter of Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) and Lady Grantham (Elizabeth McGovern) on the PBS period drama.
The English actress will be seen in the role of “Henriette” in the 2014 feature film rendition of Gustave Flaubert novel Madame Bovary, directed by Sophie Barthes and starring Mia Wasikowska, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Paul Giamatti and Ezra Miller.
Carmichael, who graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theater School in 2007, has also appeared as “Sal” in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, among other credits.
