Leslie Parrish was an actor who appeared on television series and films. She played USS Enterprise archaeology and anthropology officer Carolyn Palamas on the original Star Trek episode "Who Mourns for Adonis?" Parrish also appeared on several episodes of the Batman television series which starred Adam West. She can also be seen on Police Story, Mannix, as well as the original version of Perry Mason.

In addition to her career on television, Parrish also had a long career in film. She played Jocelyn Jordan in "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962), which she later said was her favorite role. Parrish also played Daisy Mae in "Lil' Abner" and acted in "Sex and the Single Girl" as well as "The Candy Man."

Parrish was also a passionate environmentalist who created the Spring Hill Wildlife Sanctuary in 1999.
