Lewis Dauber was an American actor.

A graduate of the University of California Berkeley, Dauber began a career in the banking industry before deciding to pursue acting.

Dauber's specialty became portraying priests and he did so on several television series, including Lethal Weapon, The League, New Girl, Workaholics, Rules of Engagement, Scrubs, The Bernie Mac Show, and NYPD Blue.

He also appeared on such shows as Judging Amy, 24, Ally McBeal, Family Matters, Quantum Leap, Seinfeld, Who's the Boss?, Murder, She Wrote, Matlock, Newhart, and Knots Landing.

Dauber died October 3, 2019, in Pacific Palisades, California. He was 70.
