Lisa Colagrossi was a television news journalist and fixture on WABC-TV in New York City, the largest media market in the U.S.

Her career began at WKYC-TV, in her hometown of Cleveland. She then moved on to stations in Alabama, West Virginia and Florida, where she was an anchor for WKMG-TV in Orlando. She joined WABC-TV shortly after the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001. In addition to the attacks, which occurred just days before her start, she covered everything from local parades and extreme weather to the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.

She received several Emmy Award nominations and won two Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards for her work in Florida.

Colagrossi died March 20, 2015, in New York City. The reported cause was a brian aneurysm. She was 49.
