Lucinda Schiff, also known by her stage name, Lucinda Dooling, was an actress best known for her role as Mary Ann “Lovely” Lovitt in the 1981 cult film Lovely But Deadly. The movie followed the story of a cheerleader who goes undercover to fight drug dealers and avenge her brother’s death.

Schiff also appeared in the 1981 ABC telefilm Miracle on Ice, the true story of how the U.S. Olympic hockey team beat the Soviets at the 1980 winter Olympics. Schiff played Donna, the wife of hockey star and U.S. team captain Mike Eruzione.

She also appeared in small roles on the television series Nero Wolfe, Hart to Hart, Three’s Company and Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color. Additionally, she appeared in the television movies The Merry Wives of Windsor and The Rules of Marriage, starring Elizabeth Montgomery and Elliott Gould, as well as the 1983 acclaimed miniseries The Thorn Birds, with Richard Chamberlain, Rachel Ward and Christopher Plummer.

Schiff made her onscreen debut in the 1979 Steven Spielberg wartime comedy film 1941, and also appeared in the films The Alchemist and Surf II.

She was married to David Schiff, the founder and a partner in the Hollywood management and production company MGMT.

Schiff died December 30, 2015, in Pacific Palisades, California. She was 61.
