Lynn Hamilton was an actor who appeared in television series and films. She was perhaps best known for her recurring roles as Fred Sanford's girlfriend Donna Harris on Sanford and Son and as Verdie Grant Foster on The Waltons. She can also be seen in Dangerous Women and Generations (in which she had starring roles), 227, and Sister, Sister. Hamilton can also be seen in films including "Leadbelly," "Lady Sings the Blues," as well as "Buck and the Preacher."
