Margaret Whitton was an actress best known for her role as the Cleveland Indians owner Rachel Phelps in the movie Major League, and its sequel.

Whitton also appeared in the films Movie Madness, The Best of Times, 9½ Weeks, The Secret of my Succe$s, Baby Boom, Little Monsters and The Man Without a Face.

Additionally, Whitton had roles on the series The Doctors, Miami Vice, Hometown, A Fine Romance, Good & Evil and Cutters.

She died December 4, 2016, in Palm Beach, Florida. She was 67.
