Martha Selleck was the president of the Motion Picture Mothers organization and was mother to actor Tom Selleck, star of Magnum, P.I. and Blue Bloods.

Mrs. Selleck served as president of the Motion Picture Mothers organization from 1998 to 2016. The organization donates to the Motion Picture & Television Fund, the operator of the Woodland Hills home and hospital for retired members of the entertainment industry.

Mrs. Selleck also appeared on an episode of her son’s Emmy and Golden Globe winning series, Magnum, P.I.

Selleck died February 19, 2017, in Oak Park, California. She was 96.
