Marty Nadler was a writer, actor, and stand up comedian who worked on television series and films. He was a longtime collaborator of Garry Marshall and was the lead writer on Marshall's sitcoms Who’s Watching the Kids and Blansky’s Beauties. Nadler also wrote on many sitcoms including Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and Perfect Strangers.
In addition to his career in television, Nadler also acted in many films. He contributed jokes to six of Marshall's films and had cameos in them as well. Nadler can be seen in "Pretty Woman," "Frankie and Johnny," as well as "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement."
Nadler also had a career as a stand up comedian, which gave him a skillset that he used to warm up audiences for live tapings of Marshall's sitcoms. He also performed with his son Charlie. Their latest special, "A Boomer & a Millennial Walk into a Bar," will be released early next year by Comedy Dynamics.
