Míriam Colón had a long career in television and motion pictures, from her first role on the series Danger in 1955 through her appearance on Better Call Saul sixty years later.
Her professional resume reads like a catalog of early television, with roles on shows that included Playhouse 90, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Doctor Kildare, Ben Casey, Have Gun - Will Travel, and Gunsmoke. She appeared on Guiding Light, All My Children, and One Life to Live. On film, her roles included portraying the mother of Tony Montana in Scarface.
In the late 1960s, Colón founded The Puerto Rican Traveling Theater company in New York City.
