Michael Kagan was a producer who served as head of production for Cannon Films in the 1980s, and went on to produce several feature films as well as television series.
A native of Israel, Kagan worked at Cannon for fellow Israeli executive Menahem Golan and Yorum Globus.
His feature film credits included The Wicked Lady, Death Wish 3, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, The Jungle Book, Air America and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
His most notable television credit was a season as a supervising producer of Nurses, a comedy created by Susan Harris. The show was a spinoff of Harris' Empty Nest, which was also a spinoff — of The Golden Girls.
Kagan died November 10, 2013, in London, at age 87.
