Michael Sloan, Emmy nominee, was born into a show business family, and made a name for himself as a prolific screenwriter and producer.
Of his numerous accomplishments, Michael is perhaps best known for The Equalizer. Co-creator and writer of the television series starring Edward Woodward, Michael went on to produce the modern take on the series starring Queen Latifah, and, most notably, produced the iconic film franchise of the same name, led by none other than Denzel Washington - the only series Washington has ever starred in not one but two sequels.
Michael built a storied career in television, working with legends of the likes of Glen Larson, Robert Vaughn, George Lazenby - who famously played James Bond - and Sandra Bullock, personally offering her a breakout role in the television film "Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman." His works include Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Battlestar Galactica, McCloud, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Columbo, Magnum P.I., and Quincy, for which he was nominated for an Emmy. Michael's episode of Columbo, "Now You See Him," starring the incomparable Jack Cassidy, is widely considered to be one of the greatest episodes in the show's history - and the only one ever assigned to a freelance writer.
Michael believed in the power of storytelling to bring audiences together, and his accomplishments in television continue to impact generations today.
