Natasha Parry was an English actress best known for playing Lady Capulet in director Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet. The film earned an Oscar nomination for best picture and best director, and won for best cinematography and best costume design.

Parry also appeared in the film Windom’s Way, with Peter Finch, as well as Midnight Lace, Dance Hall, the musical Oh! What a Lovely War and, one of her final credits, The Taste of Blueberries.

She was married to British theater and film director Peter Brook, and she appeared in his 1979 film Meetings with Remarkable Men, as well as many of his stage productions, including King Lear in 1953.

The actress also appeared on television, and had roles on such series as The Name of the Game, The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre and Omnibus. The latter began as a live show from New York City, hosted by Alastair Cooke, and featured original plays, songs, dances and celebrity interviews.

Perry died July 22, 2015, in La Baule-Escoublac, Loire-Atlantique, France. She was 84.
