Noel Harrison was an actor and singer known for his rendition of the hit song "The Windmills of Your Mind" and for the role of Mark Slate in the NBC series The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.

The son of actor Rex Harrison and his first wife, Collette Thomas, he was also an elite athlete who was a member of the British ski team and competed in the 1952 and 1956 Winter Olympics. He then turned to music and began performing at clubs in Europe before coming to the U.S. in 1965.

In 1966, he was cast opposite Stefanie Powers in The Girl From U.N.C.L.E., which lasted just one season but endured in the memory of many fans. His other television credits included It Takes a Thief, Love, American Style, Mission: Impossible, Ironside, The Love Boat and many other shows.

In addition, he hosted his own variety program, Take Time with Noel Harrison.

Harrison’s recording of “The Windmills of Your Mind” became the theme music of the 1968 film The Thomas Crown Affair and was a top 10 hit in England. He released several albums including Collage and Santa Monica Pier.

In the early 1970s Harrison withdrew from Hollywood and moved to Canada for several years. In the late 1990s he returned to England, where he lived in Devon and continued to perform and record music.
