Norma Barzman

Norma Barzman was a screenwriter who was blacklisted during the McCarthy era.
She was active in getting credits restored for blacklisted writers whose films were released under the name of a "front" such as her film "The Locket."
Barzman wrote "The Red and the Blacklist: The Intimate Memoir of a Hollywood Expatriate," which was released in 2003 and documents her experience.
