Patricia Bosworth was an American actress, biographer, and journalist.

A student of the Actors Studio in New York, Bosworth studied under Lee Strasberg alongside Paul Newman, Marilyn Monroe, and Steve McQueen. 

As an actress, Bosworth is best known for playing a nun opposite Audrey Hepburn in the film The Nun’s Story (1959).  She also appeared in the television series Concerning Miss Marlowe, Young Dr. Malone, Naked City, and The Patty Duke Show.

She went on to focus on journalism, writing for New York magazine, The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar, and Vanity Fair.  Some of Bosworth’s most acclaimed work was done in book form as seen in her biographies of Montgomery Clift, Marlon Brando, and Jane Fonda.

Bosworth died April 2, 2020, in New York City, New York.  She was 86.
