Paul Crouch was an evangelist who, with his wife Jan, founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network in 1973.

The Christian broadcasting company began as a small operation in southern California and eventually spread across every continent but Antarctica.

Based in Costa Mesa, California, the network reportedly has 84 satellite channels and more than 18,000 television and cable affiliates.

Crouch died November 30, 2013. He was 79.
