Peter Cullen was an actor who appeared on television series and films. He was perhaps best known as the voice of Optimus Prime on The Transformers and many other TV series in that franchise as well as the live-action Transformers films which Michael Bay directed. Cullen could also be heard as Eyeore on The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and many other projects set in that universe.

In addition to his iconic work in animation, Cullen also had a career on live action television. He was the announcer on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour and also appeared in sketches on The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour.

Cullen also acted in numerous featured films. He can be heard in "Predator" and "Gremlins."
