Peter Engel was a producer and writer who was best known for executive producing the Saved by the Bell franchise. He served as an executive producer on other series including California Dreams, USA High, Hang Time, City Guys, Last Comic Standing, One World, Chasing the Saturdays, and Sirota's Court. His television movies included "Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style," "Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas," and "Bitter Harvest." Over the course of his career, he produced more than 1,000 episodes of television.
