Peter Lassally was an Emmy Award-winning producer and executive who had a long and successful career in television. He went from being an NBC page to executive producer of The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, where he worked for 23 years. After Carson's retirement, he worked with David Letterman on Late Night with David Letterman and Late Show with David Letterman.
Lassally also recommended Craig Ferguson to be the host of The Late Late Show. Lassally later became an executive producer on it for the entirety of Ferguson's tenure as host.
