Philippe Maigret is a producer and senior creative executive with more than three decades of experience building and leading scripted television businesses across the U.S. and international markets. He most recently served as President & Managing Director of ITV Studios America, where he led the company’s U.S. scripted operations and oversaw creative and commercial strategy across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms.
During his tenure at ITV Studios America, Maigret was responsible for a premium portfolio of U.S. scripted productions for Apple TV+, Netflix, Prime Video, AMC/AMC+, Showtime, and Max. These included Franklin (Apple TV+), on which he serves as executive producer, as well as series produced through ITV Studios America and partner labels including Tomorrow Studios and Work Friends. He also oversaw a high-potential development slate with multiple U.S. and international buyers.
Prior to joining ITV Studios America in 2015, Maigret served as CEO of Endemol Studios, where he launched and established the company’s U.S. scripted studio operations. Earlier in his career, he held senior executive positions at Disney Media Networks, DreamWorks SKG, and Centropolis Entertainment, following an early career start at Canal+. Maigret’s production credits have also included Kingdom (Executive Producer), The Young Americans (Executive Producer) and Boiling Point (Co-Executive Producer).
Maigret is the Founder & Principal of Tergiam Group, a platform through which he combines selective creative development and producing with senior-level advisory work for studios, creators, and organizations operating in complex creative and cultural environments. Tergiam supports the development, incubation, and positioning of premium scripted projects, as well as project-based advisory work tied to studio strategy, partnerships, organizational decision-making, and executive coaching. Engagements draw directly on Maigret’s leadership experience in cross-cultural environments and his background as a studio head and producer.
A graduate of Teachers College (Master of Arts in Adult Learning and Leadership, 2025), the Columbia Coaching Certification Program (2025) and ESCP Business School (Master in Management, 1989), Maigret resides in Los Angeles, California, where he serves on the board of the Hollywood Radio & TV Society and The TV Academy Foundation. He mentors emerging leaders in the creative industries, teaches at ESCP Business School (MSc Médias) and regularly participates in academic and professional forums in the U.S. and Europe. He is often found relaxing during the weekends on the tennis court or playing with his dogs.
