Phyllida Law was an actor who appeared on television series and films. She can be seen on Foyle's War, Midsomer Murders, and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Law also appeared in numerous films. She can be seen in "Much Ado About Nothing," "Unleashed," and "The Winter Guest."
Law also made a vocal cameo in "Nanny McPhee," which was written by and starred her daughter, Emma Thompson. Her younger daughter, Sophie Thompson, won the 1999 Olivier Award for Best Actress for her performance in "Into the Woods."
