R.D. Call was an American actor.
A student of Utah State University, Weber State University, and of Lee Strasberg’s acting school in Los Angeles, Call had recurring roles in the television shows Rogues of LA, EZ Street, Golden Years, and Knightwatch.
He also guest starred in Burn Notice, Castle, Supernatural, JAG, Diagnosis: Murder, The Practice, Walker, Texas Ranger, The X-Files, Little House on the Prairie, and Barnaby Jones.
Call may be best known for his work in the films Last Man Standing (1996) and Born on the Fourth of July (1989), and also appeared in Into the Wild (2007), Babel (2006), Murder by Numbers (2002), I Am Sam (2001), Waterworld (1995), State of Grace (1990), Young Guns II (1990), Judgment in Berlin (1988), At Close Range (1986), and 48 Hours (1982).
Call died February 27, 2020, in Layton, Utah. He was 70.
