Ric Marlow was a singer-songwriter best known for co-writing with Bobby Scott the 1960s pop song “A Taste of Honey.”
The song earned him a Grammy Award in 1962, and was re-recorded by approximately 200 artists, including The Beatles, Barbra Streisand and Tony Bennett.
He was also an actor, and appeared on episodes of Pony Express, Bonanza, Death Valley Days, Sea Hunt, Lawman, Ripcord, Hawaii Five-O and Magnum, P.I.
Marlow died February 28, 2017, in Palm Springs, California. He was 91.
