Richard Weitz is Co-Chairman of WME Group, serving alongside Christian Muirhead since their appointment as Co-Chairmen of leading talent agency WME in Fall of 2022. Together they oversee representation businesses spanning nearly every vertical of entertainment, sports, and fashion. WME Group comprises WME, global marketing agency 160over90, IMG Licensing, and nonscripted content company Pantheon Media Group.

During their tenure, Weitz and Muirhead have led the strategic direction of WME, guiding the agency – now with over 125 years in the business - into new growth areas and opportunities for its clients. This has included acquisitions across sports, books and music.

Weitz has been a leading dealmaker in the entertainment business for over three decades. As one of the first employees at Endeavor talent agency, he played an integral role in its rapid growth and success, serving as head of its television department through its merger with William Morris Agency in 2009.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Weitz and his daughter, Demi, created RWQuarantunes, a philanthropic virtual concert that raised over $38 million for more than 75 charities affected by the pandemic.

Weitz grew up in Philadelphia and attended the George Washington University where he graduated with a degree in Communications. He lives in Los Angeles with his family.
