Rob Gibbs was an American story artist, writer, and director of animation.

Gibbs contributed to many Pixar films, including Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Up, Incredibles 2, and Wall-E.

Before joining Pixar in 1998, he worked on several notable films such as FernGully: The Last Rainforest (1992), Cool World (1992), and Disney's Pocahontas (1995) and Fantasia 2000 (1999).

His television work includes episodes of Mater’s Tall Tales, The Proud Family, Quack Pack, and comedian Louie Anderson’s animated series, Life with Louie.

Gibbs died April 24, 2020. He was 55.
