Rob Wade

Chief Executive Officer, FOX Entertainment

Rob Wade serves as Chief Executive Officer of FOX Entertainment, overseeing one of the world's most recognizable media brands and a leading global creator of multi-genre content across broadcast, streaming, digital, and emerging platforms. Under his leadership, FOX Entertainment has deepened its commitment to reaching audiences where they are around the world through a platform- and format-agnostic approach to storytelling, intellectual property development, and global distribution.

Appointed CEO in 2022, Wade has guided FOX Entertainment's evolution into a modern, next-generation studio operating across three core business units: FOX Entertainment Studios, FOX Television Network, and FOX Entertainment Global. Under this structure, ideas originate from a wide range of creative sources, including the rapidly expanding digital storytelling ecosystem. During his tenure, the company's strategy has focused on building an interconnected content model that enables ideas to be tested, refined, and scaled efficiently, while retaining the flexibility to grow successful concepts into global franchises in partnership with leading platforms and distributors.

As part of this broader evolution, FOX Entertainment has expanded its early-stage IP development and digital content capabilities through strategic investments that span its newly formed FOX Creator Studios, equity stakes in vertical video platform Holywater and experiential storyteller Chain, the acquisition of podcast platform Meet Cute, and a newly established two-way content pipeline with HarperCollins Publishing. These efforts support the company's ability to invest earlier in emerging ideas, test new formats thoughtfully, and scale proven concepts, while maintaining the infrastructure and creative expertise to translate success into meaningful broadcast, streaming, and digital opportunities worldwide.

The newly formed FOX Creator Studios dovetails seamlessly into this strategy by supporting creator-led storytelling and brand development within FOX Entertainment's broader portfolio, with an emphasis on collaboration, format innovation, and measurable growth that leverages FOX's world-class ad sales, distribution, and production capabilities. The new studio reflects the company's deliberate approach to engaging with the creator economy while maintaining FOX's longstanding focus on delivering premium content for audiences and advertisers alike.

Under Wade, the company's three key divisions have experienced meaningful growth and creative success. The FOX Television Network—home to hits such as The Simpsons, Hell's Kitchen, Doc, Memory of a Killer, Fear Factor: House of Fear, and The Floor — has fortified its streaming partnerships with Hulu and FOX One and further expanded its reach on Netflix with hits like Doc and Animal Control. FOX Entertainment Studios now encompasses in-house scripted and unscripted studios behind series such as Best Medicine, The Faithful, The Masked Singer, Extracted, and Animal Control, as well as Studio Ramsay Global (Next Level Chef, Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service, Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars, Being Gordon Ramsay), Bento Box Entertainment (Krapopolis, Hazbin Hotel), vertical video platform Holywater, TMZ, and the independent film label Tideline. And FOX Entertainment Global serves as the company's worldwide content sales and distribution arm, broadening its scope to include content from FOX Entertainment Studios, Tubi, FOX Nation, and third-party acquisition partners.

Previously, Wade served as President of Alternative Entertainment and Specials, overseeing FOX's unscripted slate including The Masked Singer, LEGO Masters, Next Level Chef, MasterChef, and Hell's Kitchen. Before joining FOX in 2017, he was showrunner of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, Head of Entertainment Development at BBC Worldwide, and an executive producer on The X Factor and America's Got Talent.
