Designer and manufacturer of the Wendt X series of field production audio mixers

Following a successful career in the aerospace industry, Bob Wendt turned his talents and expertise to design and build field audio mixers that were used by the prolific Emmy Award winning shows Survivor, The Amazing Race, Deadliest Catch, and others. These mixers were new tools for a new industry.

Bob always listened to feedback from his audio colleagues and thus continued to innovate, creating a line of field mixers that sold around the world.

In 2012 Bob retired, again, but remained very active within the sound community. With his passing the industry has lost a pioneer, audiophile, and friend.
