Roberto Orci was a Mexican-American producer and writer who produced and wrote hundreds of episodes of television series. He served as both a producer and writer on shows including Alias, Fringe, Transformers Prime, Sleepy Hollow, Scorpion and Hawaii Five-0. Other series he wrote episodes of include Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Jack of All Trades and Matador.

Orci worked on screenplays for films including "The Island," "The Legend of Zorro," "Mission: Impossible III," "Transformers," "Star Trek (2009)," "Star Trek Into Darkness" and "Star Trek Beyond." He served as a producer on "The Proposal," "Now You See Me," "People Like Us" and "The Mummy."
