Robin Morgan was an actor, writer, and feminist activist. She acted in numerous TV series when she as a child that included Mama, Robert Montgomery Presents, and Kraft Theatre.

After her career as an actor ended, Morgan fulfilled her dream of becoming a writer. An anthology of feminist literature that she edited, "Sisterhood is Powerful," was included by the New York Public Library in its "Books of the Century" list.

Morgan served as editor-in-chief of Ms. Magazine from 1989-1994. She also co-founded the Women's Media Center and either founded or co-founded numerous other feminist organizations including the Feminist Women's Health Network, the National Battered Women's Refuge Network, Media Women, the National Network of Rape Crisis Centers, the Feminist Writers' Guild, and the Women's Foreign Policy Council.
