Ron Simons was an American actor and producer who appeared in television series and movies and exclusively produced films and broadway productions. He can be seen in shows including The Defenders, Daredevil, Law & Order, The Resident and Succession. Simons appeared in movies including "Night Catches Us," "27 Dresses," "After the Wedding" and "Wolves." He served as an executive producer on films including "Multiverse," "The Seagull," "King Cobra," "I Miss You" and "Gun Hill Road."

Simons was also a four-time Tony winner who worked on Broadway plays and served as a producer for productions including Thoughts of a Colored Man, The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess and Ain't too Proud.
