Ronnie Lantz was an American sound engineer.
He is perhaps best known for his work in the sound department on the television series Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?.
After volunteering to serve two tours in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, Lantz earned a bachelor's degree in communications from San Francisco State University before beginning his career in the television industry.
He would go on to work as a boom operator in a number of series including Unplugged, Gullah, Gullah Island, Spin City, Blue Collar TV, HBO First Look, CMT Crossroads, Survivor, The Job, and the mini-series Horace and Pete.
In 1996, he shared a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Live and Tape Sound Mixing for his contribution to Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?.
Lantz died February 5, 2021, in Port Jervis, New York. He was 72.
