Ross Gallichotte was an art director and set designer best known for his work as an architect and designer for Universal Studios theme parks. He was one of five architects who worked on Japan’s Universal theme park, which opened in 2001, and he designed the “New York” portion of Florida’s Universal theme park. He also contributed to the designs of Malaysia and Universal City’s parks.

Gallichotte also worked for both Stephen J. Cannell Productions and Aaron Spelling Productions, and on several television series as an art director or set designer, including Hunter, Father Dowling Mysteries, The Dukes of Hazzard and Weeds.

In addition, he was a set designer on the feature films Red Dawn, Fright Night, Rocky IV, Over the Top and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause.

Gallichotte died April 7, 2015, in Palmdale, California. He was 63.
