Sam Lloyd was an American actor.
Lloyd was best known for his role as sad-sack lawyer Ted Buckland on the television series Scrubs. Lloyd appeared in 95 episodes of the show during its nine season run on NBC and ABC.
Over the course of his three-decade career in television and film, Lloyd also held roles on shows like Desperate Housewives, Seinfeld, Modern Family, The West Wing, Cougar Town, Malcolm in the Middle, and Shameless.
Lloyd's final television role was in a November 2019 episode of the ABC sitcom American Housewife.
Lloyd died April 30, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. He was 56.
