Sam Lovullo was a producer best known for his years work on the musical variety show Hee Haw. The series would go on to thrive in syndication, airing in 222 markets, with almost 600 original episodes over 25 years.

Lovullo also produced the series Hee Haw Honeys and The Nashville Palace, as well as the television movie Swing Out, Sweet Land. In addiiton, he produced comedy-variety specials for John Wayne, Loretta Lynn, Herb Alpert, Don Knotts and the Harlem Globetrotters.

Lovullo got his start in entertainment as a chief accountant at CBS, went on to become a production manager for the film and tape departments, then manager of business affairs for CBS West Coast.

He died January 3, 2017, in Encino, California. He was 88.
