Sandy Wernick was a partner and senior executive vp at Brillstein Entertainment Partners. He was best known as a talent manager and producer. His numerous clients included Lorne Michaels, Colin Quinn, and Adam Sandler, the latter of whom played a character inspired by him in his 2017 film "Sandy Wexler."
Wernick co-created Def Comedy Jam. He also helped package and produce numerous TV series including Saturday Night Live, The Sopranos, and Alf. Wernick also produced films including "Happy Gilmore," "The Wedding Singer," and "Bulletproof."
