Sean Mullen was an American visual effects artist.
An alumnus of Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, and a former Walt Disney World monorail driver, Mullen spent over 20 years creating motion graphics and visual effects for feature films and television, and was the CEO and lead designer for Rampant Design, Inc., a company which designed tools for video content creators.
Mullen’s credits in television include JAG, 7th Heaven, Felicity, Charmed, Providence, The Wonderful World of Disney, Boston Public, and NCIS. Among his feature film credits: Lake Placid (with Bridget Fonda and Bill Pullman), Any Given Sunday (with Al Pacino and Jamie Foxx), Skipped Parts (with Drew Barrymore), Dude, Where’s My Car? (with Ashton Kutcher), and Someone Like You (with Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman).
In recent years, Mullen divided his time between documenting his travels across the world with his wife and partner, Stef, and continuing to consult on video projects.
Mullen died March 6, 2021, in Orlando, Florida. He was 43.
