Sid Krofft was a writer and producer of television series. He co-created (with his brother Marty) numerous acclaimed and influential children's shows involving puppets such as H.R. Pufnstuf, Land of the Lost, and Pryor's Place. They also co-created other popular television series including The Brady Bunch Hour, Donny & Marie, and The Bay City Rollers Show. In more recent years, he co-created Mutt & Stuff.

He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Daytime Emmys in 2018.
