Steve Hayden was an advertising executive and writer who worked on advertisements and television series. He created the famous "1984" Superbowl ad for Apple while he was a copywriter at Chiat/Day. Hayden later rose to become a vice chairman at Ogilvy. His work on episodic television can be seen in the one episode that he wrote of Welcome Back, Kotter.
