Steven Grothe was an American sound mixer.
Grothe studied sociology at UC Berkeley, graduating in 1990.
A former actor, Grothe appeared uncredited as a Starfleet officer in the Star Trek: Voyager fifth season episode "In the Flesh.”
Grothe’s television resume includes episodes of Lizzie McGuire, Scrubs, The O.C., Bones, Justified, Parenthood, The Mindy Project, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Santa Clarita Diet, Lucifer, Grey’s Anatomy, and two documentary series: Iconoclasts, and American Masters.
Grothe died March 18, 2020. He was 51.
