Tim O'Connor was an American actor.

Born in Chicago, his career spanned Broadway, television and films. He worked with such actors as Sir Laurence Olivier, George C. Scott, Edward G. Robinson, Jessica Tandy, Maximilian Schell, Vincent Price, and Boris Karloff, among others.

O’Connor was best known for his role as Elliot Carson in the 1960s prime time soap opera Peyton Place.

O’Connor also had recurring roles on Buck Rogers in the 21st Century, General Hospital, and Dynasty. His other television work includes The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, All in the Family, M*A*S*H, Gunsmoke, Maude, Columbo, The Rockford Files, Hawaii Five-0, The Fugitive, The Outer Limits, The A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard, Wonder Woman, The Streets of San Francisco, Barnaby Jones, Knight Rider, Trapper John, M.D., Walker, Texas Ranger, and Murder, She Wrote.

O'Connor's film credits include roles in The Groundstar Conspiracy (1972), Across 110th Street (1972), and Sssssss (1973). His last film appearance was in 2011’s Dreams Awake, with his Buck Rogers in the 21st Century co-star Erin Gray.

O'Connor died April 5, 2018, in Nevada City, California. He was 90.
