Tom Dreesen was a stand-up comedian and actor who appeared on television series and films. He made over sixty appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and was also a frequent guest on The Late Show with David Letterman. Dreesen was also a longtime opening act for Frank Sinatra.

In addition to his performances as a stand-up comedian, Dreesen also acted in television series. He can be seen on Murder, She Wrote, WKRP in Cincinnati (starring his friend and comedy partner Tim Reid), and The Facts of Life.

Dreesen also acted in several films. He can be seen in Man on the Moon, Spaceballs, and Trouble with the Curve.
