Trini Lopez was an American musician and actor.

Signed by Frank Sinatra to his label, Reprise Records, in 1962, Lopez recorded more than 60 albums with hits such as If I Had a Hammer, Lemon Tree, Kansas City, Michael, I'm Coming Home, Cindy, Sally Was a Good Old Girl, and La Bamba.

The singer and guitarist also appeared on the big screen alongside Lee Marvin and Ernest Borgnine in the classic film The Dirty Dozen (1967), had cameos in The Poppy Is Also a Flower (1966) and The Phynx (1970), and produced and starred in Antonio (1973).

In television, he guest starred on the series BP Super Show and Adam-12, and his music has been featured in a number of programs including Ray Donovan and Supernatural.

Lopez died August 11, 2020, in Palm Springs, California. He was 83.
