Vincent “Don Vito” Margera was best known for his appearances on the MTV reality series Jackass and Viva la Bam, the latter of which followed Jackass star Bam Margera in his attempts to play pranks on his family.

Vincent Margera appeared on the series from 2003 to 2006 and earned the nickname “Don Vito” for his mostly indecipherable speech that often required captions, like Don Vito Corleone, the Mob patriarch played by Marlon Brando in The Godfather.

Margera was both the target and instigator of various pranks on the show, including instances where he drank an entire bottle of hot sauce, was given a “heartagram” tattoo (the logo for the band HIM) and had his hair dyed blue.

He also made appearances on the series Totally Busted and Stankervision and appeared in the movies Dunn and Vito’s Rock Tour, The Dudesons Movie, Haggard and Minghags.

Margera died November 15, 2015, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He was 59.
