Working with Minor Performers: Protection, Connection, and Reflection

November 4, 2026 - 4:00 PM PT

Peer Group - Open to specific Peer Groups

About the event

You are invited to a collaborative chat with Minor Performer Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to ensuring the education, safety, health, and well-being of minors working in entertainment.

The conversation will go beyond standard compliance and protocols to explore the overall experience of child actors, whether they are hired for one day or a multi-year run, and how to support them throughout their time on a production.

This free virtual program is designed exclusively for members of the Children’s Programming Peer Group and other select peer groups.

Key areas of discussion will include:

  • Best Practices: Recommendations on approaches that work well, with an open discussion about opportunities for improvement.

  • The “Digital First” Landscape: The realities of working and performing in the digital space, including the impact of social media on minor performers.

  • Legal Updates: A brief overview of new and upcoming regulations.

With a shared goal of protecting minor performers’ mental and physical well-being, the panel will explore how to help young talent build a foundation for a healthy, lasting career.
