Become a judge for the 4th Annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards!
Judging for the Fourth Annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards (CAFÉ) is scheduled October 3 – November 1. All members of the Television Academy are automatically qualified to judge!
SIGN UP NOW THROUGH OCTOBER 3 -- at our Orthicon site at enter.theemmys.tv.
This round of Judging determines the nominees and winners IN THE SAME ROUND OF JUDGING. THERE IS NO SEPARATE JUDGING ROUND TO DETERMINE WINNERS AND THERE IS NO FYC PERIOD.
If you have previously signed up as a Daytime or CAFÉ submitter or judge, YOUR SAME LOGIN WORKS -- but you need to re-affirm your intent to judge CAFÉ by following the instructions below. If you are a Television Academy member who has not participated in previous Daytime Emmys or Children's Emmys, you must sign up for our Orthicon system, which is not tied to the Television Academy membership site.
Once you are in the Orthicon system, on your Profile page, you need to toggle YES for "I want to judge," HIT SAVE, and then complete the Judging Qualifications in its entirety! MAKE SURE TO HIT SAVE.
BOTH ACTIONS ARE REQUIRED - TOGGLING "YES" and FILLING OUT THE JUDGING QUALIFICATIONS.
We MUST have your IMDb link, Academy membership, Peer Group, expertise, and any conflicts to be able to approve you as a judge and place you on the appropriate panels.
Please be aware that judges are usually placed on two to three categories per round and must watch all of the submitted material within their assigned categories. We anticipate about 20 hours of material to be viewed over the 4 weeks / 5 weeks of the judging period.
