On December 9,2008 in Beverly Hills, California, the Television Academy inducted Beatrice Arthur, Larry Gelbart, Merv Griffin, Thomas S. Murphy and Daniel B. Burke, and Sherwood Schwartz into the Hall of Fame, aside just over one hundred entertainment legends.
