Excellence in Production Design Awards

Beverly Hills, CA – AMC original series Mad Men took top honors at the Art Directors Guild's 12th Annual Awards for Excellence in Production Design on Saturday. The program garnered a nod for production designer Dan Bishop in the category of Episode of a Single Camera Television Series for the episode "Shoot."
The ADG awards, hosted this year by Harry Shearer at the Beverly Hilton, recognizes art directors and assistant art directors as winners in each area, as well as production designers.
In other television categories, reality show Hell's Kitchen prevailed in the area of Awards Show, Variety, Music Special or Nonfiction, with John Janavs accepting an award for an episode.
Production designer Tom Meyer received the television movie/miniseries honor for his work on PU 239. MadTV production designer John Sabato won for Multicamera Television series.
