Actress Collin Wilcox, best known for her role as Mayella Ewell in the 1962 film adaptation of Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird, died October 14, 2009. She was 74.
According to news reports, Wilcox died at her home in Highlands, North Carolina.
In addition to her film work, Wilcox made numerous television appearances, including episodes of The Untouchables, The Defenders, The Twilight Zone and Gunsmoke.
