Alan Sues, a comic actor best known as cast member of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In in the ’60s and ’70s, died December 1, 2011, in West Hollywood, California. He was 85.
According to news reports, the cause was cardiac arrest.
On Laugh-In, Sues joined such co-stars as Ruth Buzzi, Arte Johnson, Joanne Worley, Goldie Hawn, Henry Gibson, Judy Carne and Lily Tomlin in sketches skewering the counterculture.
Sues also appeared in commercials for Peter Pan peanut butter, and episodes of many other TV series, including The Twilight Zone, The Wild, Wild West, Love, American Style, Fantasy Island, CHiPS, Punky Brewster and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
